At BBP, we support mothers who want to breastfeed their babies and understand that it can sometimes be challenging. Many people assume mother and baby just naturally know how to breastfeed. Breastfeeding, however, goes more smoothly when mother has a basic understanding of breastfeeding management. Babies are born with instincts and reflexes but not knowledge of breastfeeding. Breastfeeding is learned.
Now you and your family can learn about breastfeeding either before baby is born or you can have a breastfeeding evaluation after baby’s birth. We have a staff International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) that would be happy to help assist and support you during your breastfeeding journey.
